Varadero has to have one of the finest beaches in the entire Caribbean. Although large resort hotels now line the shore, the beaches are so expansive that they will very seldom be crowded. And what beaches! No need to search for the perfect spot, since Varadero is located on on 20 kms of white powdery sand that makes up the Peninsula de Hicacos. Naturally watersports are a key ingredient of your holiday, and most hotels offer a wide range of activities.
The “mojito” – a unique combination of sugar, fresh mint, soda water, lime juice and rum – is a refreshing drink in the hot Cuban sun. A popular Cuban drink, Ernest Hemingway made the mojito famous with his taste for the Caribbean beverage.

Cubans love music, and you should try to find some local groups who perform live outside the confines of the hotel strip. Although availability of necessities for tourists has improved dramatically over the years, it is still a good idea to take any familiar items you may need, such as toiletries, film, and certainly any medications.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Instructor accommodations are at Grand Memories Varadero.  Guestrooms come fully equipped with bathroom, hairdryer, 220 V, telephone, central air conditioning, mini-bar, coffee maker, satellite TV, electronic in-room safe, iron and ironing board, balcony or terrace.  Instructors will have full access to all the amenities at Sanctuary.

TEACHING SCHEDULE: 2 hour commitment per day except for arrival/departure days

2 Instructors per week – One Fitness/Zumba and One Mind/Body

PROGRAM FEE:

$450/week

** Program fee covers the instructor and one travel companion.

***Santuary at Memories Grand Varadero -  3rd Person rates available upon request.

Children 2-12 years old - $25 CUC’s per child per night for children sharing the instructor room. Fee is payable directly to hotel upon arrival. Instructor room will be at Grand Memories Varadero.

Gift Fund:  All resorts participate in our Gift Fund. The gift fund is a courtesy and provides resorts with fitness, entertainment and sports equipment. Even luxury properties do not have budgets for the activity/entertainment department. Guest instructors take pride in helping provide items that our resort partners have difficulty acquiring. NRG2GO will completely prepare you in advance regarding what to take.
